1. Making a Request

You may submit a privacy request to privacy@domistra.com. Describe the right you wish to exercise and the Domistra™ account, organization or interaction involved. Do not email passwords, payment-card numbers or unnecessary identity documents.

2. Rights

  • Access or obtain information about personal information processed about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
  • Request deletion or erasure where the law provides that right.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent for future processing where consent is the legal basis.
  • Request portability where applicable.
  • Raise concerns about certain automated decision-making or profiling where applicable.
  • Complain to Domistra Inc. and, where applicable, a competent privacy regulator.

3. Verification

To protect privacy, Domistra Inc. may verify identity and authority before fulfilling a request. Verification will be proportionate to the sensitivity of the information and request. Authorized agents may be required to provide proof of authority and the individual may be asked to confirm the request.

4. Customer-Controlled Data

If your request concerns information controlled by a property manager, landlord or other Domistra™ customer, that customer may be the controller or organization responsible for deciding the request. Domistra Inc. may forward or direct the request to that customer and will provide processor assistance where required.

5. Timing

Domistra Inc. will respond within the period required by applicable law. Timing may vary by jurisdiction and may be extended where law permits for complex or numerous requests. We will provide required notice of an extension or refusal.

6. Exceptions

Rights are not absolute. A request may be limited where law permits or requires, including to protect another person’s rights, legal privilege, security, fraud prevention, legal claims, statutory retention or information that cannot reasonably be identified or separated.
